Fossil Rim
Zebra's, Giraffe's, and Antelope's oh my! Today was our first trip to Fossil Rim-a wild animal park that you drive through and feed the animals. We had been wanting to go for some time, but kept waiting until Sofia was old enough to enjoy it. Boy was it worth the wait! As soon as you enter the park there are animals that come right up to your car to be fed without fear. No big deal to Sofia who was not only brave enough to throw food out the window, but allowed her hands to be sucked up into a giraffe's mouth (see video below) then laughed about it! We made the mistake early on of pointing out the baby zebra and for the rest of the 4 hour loop Sofia kept calling ALL the animals to the car by saying "baby" followed by kissing noises. Stanley as usual was on his best behavior and slept/ate the whole trip while Scott honed his photography skills. It truly was an amazing experience that I'm glad we got to share with both kids and my parents-can't wait to return!
