One on One
I recently laid Stanley down on a play mat in order to give Sofia some one-on-one time with Mommy prior to my return to work. Rather than play with me, she chose to gather as many infant toys as she could find and surround her baby brother with them.
She then brought over a few books, sat down, and began to read aloud to him. Granted she is not yet able to read, but she sure gave it her all!
I feel blessed to have witnessed such a tender moment between my kids at such a young age...sniff, sniff.
