Splish Splash
We had the chance to go over to our friends Carol and Volker's yesterday for some delicious steaks and German potato salad. Sofia managed to scare off their most recent adopted greyhound Tackle, but she had a blast chasing Daisy and Lily around all afternoon. It was tiring just watching her run around.
We came home and Sofia slept for all of 45 minutes and woke up ready to go for round 2. We decided to meet Terry and Angela at the Roanoke splash park and try to tire Sofia out some more. Sofia was not happy at all, that is until Stef showed her that the water fountains were just like splashing around in the pool.

After that she was off to the races. We tried to slow her down and limit her to walking speed because wet cement is a little slick. Sofia did not agree with that idea and would sprint away at every chance, then promptly fall down
.
When Sofia's knees were sufficiently scraped up from repeated falls we decided to call it a night and head home, Sofia was not finished and tried flinging herself out of Stef's arms to head back to the water but she was foiled.
We couldn't believe that we just found out about this place and summer is almost over, I have a feeling we'll be there weekly next summer. We also learned that if Sofia is going to be in a swim suit at least one of us needs to be wearing one as well (As the photographer I managed to stay dry but Stef was not as lucky)
